I’m confused. The police assumed he was drowned, but that doesn’t mean they killed him. He was already dead before they put him in the water. Also he would not get a life sentence for that. He didn’t murder the boy, it was an accident- and no one could charge him for murder without evidence that it was intentional. I honestly don’t think he would have gotten jail time.

This story gives me the chills if I listen to it alone or on the way home. I always find myself looking over my shoulder when I walk home listening to the story on my iPod.
