Good story! I enjoyed it very much, as I do enjoy horrors like this one. A little hard to follow but it was a very good story overall!!

Written beautifully, in the style of the time I'm sure the story is meant to take place, but it is difficult to follow. I appreciate the descriptive rambling by each 'narrator', but most times it felt like I was struggling through poetry rather than reading a story. The story itself was great though!

Alycia, the husband is the murderer--that's part of the horror, that he killed her for no reason, & lost his senses upon seeing her (he thought reproachful) ghost.

Rather confusing...
1st of all it was quite long but...
anyway;
first was the sons's version,
then the murderer,
next is the husband,
then finally the victim/wife...

with a story as long as this, it's hard to tell the difference between all of them

unless...
this story was about a looping reincarnation...

Wonderfully written story! I wondered how the father died, or if he died. I believe the figure that left the house wasn't even human.
